Sorting Questions
1.) Why do you want to attend Hogwarts?
-->How else can I learn? Only one of my parents is capable of magic, and I don't really think they're capable of teaching me all that Hogwarts can. They can't really have the knowledge capacity of all the Professors here, can they? It's only one person versus all of the Professors at Hogwarts. A poor comparison, though Father isn't so bad of a wizard. He wasn't ever made for teaching, though, so no doubt it would be folly for him to try.
2.) What is your favorite place in the wizarding world?
-->Flourish and Botts. I think the store clerk really enjoys my company, but it's also because some parts of the place are notoriously inefficient, and I don't think that a little help would be so bad.
3.) Which famous witch/wizard would you want to meet and why?
-->I'd like to meet Gilderoy Lockhart, so I could yell at him for impostering all the wizards and witches who had done all that he claimed he had done. Mr. Lockhart really shouldn't have done such a thing, all for fame and fortune. If he had wanted it, he could have at least tried to earn it himself. I know I would have done that, even if I'd have probably failed. Steag fright doesn't do me any good, but I can't really help it.
4.) What, do you think, are the most important virtues?
-->What I think are the most important virtues are some things I lack (some in abundance, and one or two I have a great deal of, actually). First and quite possibly foremost, you should always think less of what others think and more of what you think of yourself. Have some self-esteem and confidence. Second, you should always be sensible, and not run blundering headfirst into a bucketful of disaster. A bucketful's a lot more than it seems, trust me. Third, always know exactly what you want, and how to get it. Because otherwise, you're never going to get it. And finally, use the library as a constant reference. You never know what you might find in there.
5.) If you had to choose between joining the Death Eaters or Dumbledore's Army, which one would you choose and why?
-->I would stay neutral. War is an iffy subject, occasionally causing war itself when discussed. Why waste time choosing sides, fighting, whacking each other with brooms and everything else? Someone's bound to lose, and I'm certain not many people like it when it's them.
6.) If you were an Animagus, what would you transform into and why?
--->I would transform into a feline, because they're inconspicous and I could move about easier. Access to the library would also probably be much easier in the form of such a small animal. I suppose the fact they don't have thumbs would be bad, but who says I can't still type on a computer? I'll just...use my nose, or something.
7.) If the Goblet of Fire were to take the thing you most valued and hide it at the bottom of the Black Lake, what/who would it be and why?
-->What I most valued probably wouldn't fit down there, actually. Flourish and Botts couldn't possibly fit down there. Okay, so maybe a computer would. But not if it were bolted to my table. Or stuck somewhere with a Permanent Sticking Charm. That spell can be /very/ useful.
